  • What are ABLEMED's payment and refund terms in relation to orders?

ABLEMED is a business model based on OEM and supplemented by ODM. Most of the products are manufactured according to the customer's drawings or samples. In principle, there will be no design costs (including molds and tooling fixtures). When there are additional design costs, Will definitely report and communicate to customers in advance.

We can provide EXW, FOB, DDP, DDU and other international trade methods, and any product price terms will be displayed to customers in detail. Our principle is not to allow customers to pay any fees that have not been communicated and acknowledged in advance.

If the customer has a request for the refund agreement, it may be triggered by the terms agreed by both parties, we will arrange the refund according to the requirements, and we are willing to write these contents into the cooperation agreement.

What is the lead time for ABLEMED?

ABLEMED provides customers with customized processing of non-standard medical equipment parts. In the early stage of order information processing, it will learn about the technical and quality requirements of the products from customers in detail. Usually, this time is controlled within 2 working days. The delivery time of the product depends on the product requirements. Usually, when the mold needs to be made, the delivery time is 4-6 weeks. For projects that do not require molds or projects that already have molds, the lead time is 2-3 weeks. (Corresponding to urgent projects is also the advantage of possible medical treatment. We will integrate excellent supply chain resources to assist customers in overcoming urgent projects. Welcome to communicate and negotiate with us.

    What is your MOQ?

AbleMed has no minimum order quantity requirements. Our services can support you from one-off prototypes all the way to mid-volume and high-volume production.

  • What endoscopic and robotic parts can AbleMed produce?

AbleMed is very good at processing tiny high-precision parts, and has rich experience in processing parts for endoscopes, medical robots, and surgical robots. Parts such as robotic arms, surgical instruments, pliers, scissors, joints, gears, and joint nuts used in consoles can be processed for robots. The endoscope parts we process are mainly used in endoscope tips, lens components, operating parts, housings, fastening connections, imaging systems, lenses, and interventional instruments.

What are the best manufacturing processes for endoscope and medical robotic parts?

Endoscopes and medical robots are made up of many parts that may be manufactured using different methods such as CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding. The actual manufacturing process depends on your budget, design, production quantity, etc.

What are the advantages of choosing CNC to manufacture parts?

The material compatibility of CNC machining is high, and almost all engineering plastics and metal materials can be processed. It is very suitable for the manufacture of complex shape parts with strict tolerances, and can ensure the consistency of prototype parts and mass production parts. In addition, with high dimensional stability, high machining accuracy and high repeatability, CNC machined parts are far superior to 3D printed parts in terms of accuracy, strength, surface finish and material availability.

How to choose materials for endoscope and medical robot parts?

The specific material should depend on the use and requirements of the part. In addition to considering the product function and performance requirements, factors such as biocompatibility, weight and cost of the material should also be considered. Most of the most commonly used materials are stainless steel, which is characterized by corrosion resistance, Anti-oxidation, high strength and easy to clean, in addition to titanium alloys, engineering plastics and bioceramics.

  • What surface treatment process does AbleMed employ to ensure that the parts do not fade after sterilization?

We perform anodizing on the parts using a professional formulation of electrolyte. This is a leading medical-grade anodizing process domestically, and it undergoes testing with specialized sterilization equipment to ensure the parts are suitable for hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilization environments.

What material and color do you use for your anodizing?

The most commonly used materials are aluminum: A5052, A6061, A6063, followed by some parts made of titanium alloy. Available colors include glossy black, matte black, transparent natural, and antique bronze. Other materials and colors are also under continuous testing.

How do you ensure that your parts do not fade after hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilization?

We have been providing products to multiple medical brands for a long time. Additionally, we have conducted professional simulated testing on parts using hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilizers. After rigorous testing, we have confirmed the processes, materials, and colors that passed the tests. Detailed experimental data has been recorded, and you can contact us to obtain the test reports.

What type of equipment do you use for plasma sterilization testing?

The name of the testing equipment is SQ-DZ 130 hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilizer.

What are your requirements for various experiments?

Hydrogen peroxide concentration: 58%60%; Capsule specifications: Individual capsule capacity ≥3ml, with a total of 12 capsules per cartridge; Operating temperature: 45°C60°C; Sterilization time: Rapid sterilization ≤30min, enhanced sterilization ≤50min, lumen sterilization ≤60min; Power requirement: 4.8KVA; Ambient temperature: 10~40°C; Relative humidity: Not exceeding 80%; Vacuum pump: Utilizes a high vacuum and H2O2 corrosion-resistant rotary vane vacuum pump, with an ultimate vacuum of up to 0.01Pa; Air filter: Filtration precision ≤0.22um.

How were the results of your experiments?

After testing, we ultimately determined that antique bronze, glossy black, silver (transparent/natural), exhibit no color difference before and after sterilization, and do not undergo fading.
